Climate Changes Threats

The climate is always changing. However, the problem that is currently affecting the world today is the way these climatic changes have accelerated at an enormous pace. This has happened to such an extent that it has adversely affected planetary life. There have been drastic weather patterns witnessed in many parts all over the world. These weather patterns are quite diverse in nature. For instance one part of the world may be experiencing severe drought while another is undergoing a major rainstorm.

These drastic extreme changes have brought many world environmental organizations calling out for change in human behaviors that may be contributing to the changes.  Scientists have been deployed out to research on the causes of these extreme conditions. They have researched and found a direct relationship between the climate changes and emission of green house gases, most rampant in industrialized nations.

The greenhouse effect is a natural phenomenon that protects human life on earth. It works by a number of gases that filter the rays of the sun and maintain the temperatures to favorable levels. The green house phenomenon has for centuries kept the earth’s atmosphere temperature in check hence enabling human habitation. The depletion of this greenhouse effect has led to a rise in the earth’s temperature and resulted in the drastic climatic changes.

These effects are what that has come to be known as global warming. Global warming is a great threat to the existence of human life. These greenhouse effects have been intense since the industrial revolution therefore you can understand the concern of the many world environmental organizations. It is predicted that if nothing is done by the year 2050, the effects of the global warming would have doubled to that before the industrial revolution. That’s why environmental organizations all over the world are greatly campaigning to stop global warming.
